Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-08-05

These terms govern your use of SVGized, an image vectorization and data-processing service operated by AKIO LLC, a limited liability company formed in Wisconsin, United States.

By using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Who we are

The service is operated by AKIO LLC, 2800 E. Enterprise Ave, Ste 333, Appleton, WI 54913, United States. You can reach us at info@svgized.com.

Purchases are not made from us directly. Paddle.com Market Ltd acts as the merchant of record for all orders: they are the seller, they issue your invoice, and they collect and remit any applicable sales tax or VAT. Their terms apply to the purchase transaction itself; these terms apply to your use of the service.

2. What the service does

SVGized converts raster images you upload into vector artwork. The conversion is performed automatically on our servers. Depending on the options you choose, the service can also separate the result into per-colour layers and produce files intended for cutting and plotting equipment.

This is a data-processing service. We analyse the image data you submit and return a machine-generated result. We do not provide design, illustration or artwork creation services, and no human reviews or edits your files.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. If you use the service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for that organisation.

4. Accounts

Some features require an account. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address, or with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping access to that email account secure, because anyone who can read your email can sign in as you.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at info@svgized.com. Closing your account deletes your account data; see the Privacy Policy for what that means in practice.

5. Free and paid plans

The free plan lets you convert a limited number of new images each calendar month. Re-converting an image you have already uploaded in that month does not count again, so you can keep adjusting colours, noise settings and modes on the same image without using up your allowance.

On the free plan you can see the full result, including how the artwork separates into layers, but downloading files is a paid feature. Paid plans remove the monthly limit on new images and unlock downloads, machine formats and batch processing.

We may change plan contents and prices. If a change affects an active subscription, it takes effect at the start of your next billing period, and we will tell you before it does.

6. Your images and your rights

You keep all rights to the images you upload and to the vector files the service produces from them. We claim no ownership of either.

You are responsible for having the right to use what you upload. Do not upload images you are not permitted to reproduce or modify — for example a third party's logo or artwork without their permission. If someone tells us that content processed through the service infringes their rights, we may suspend the account involved.

We do not store your uploaded images. They are held in memory only for as long as the conversion takes and are not written to disk. This also means we cannot recover a file for you after the fact.

We do not use your images or the resulting vector files to train, fine-tune or evaluate any machine learning model, and we do not pass them to anyone else. The conversion engine is a deterministic tracing algorithm, not a learned model, and nothing is retained for it to learn from.

7. Acceptable use

The service is subject to rate limits and abuse protection. Do not:

  • circumvent quotas, rate limits or payment, including by automating account creation
  • upload content that is illegal, or that you have no right to process
  • attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure
  • resell or redistribute access to the service as if it were your own

8. Availability

We aim to keep the service running but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. The service may be unavailable for maintenance, or because of a failure at one of the providers we depend on for hosting, authentication, email or payments.

We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid feature that you are actively paying for, you may cancel and request a pro-rated refund for the unused part of your current period.

9. No warranty

The service is provided as is. Vectorization is an automated approximation of your source image; the result depends heavily on the quality, resolution and content of what you upload. We do not warrant that the output will be suitable for any particular purpose, including cutting, printing or production.

Check the result before you commit material or machine time to it. The preview shows the actual vector output at full zoom precisely so that you can.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, AKIO LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost production time, or wasted material or media.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you. Consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom keep their statutory rights.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Where the breach is not deliberate and can be fixed, we will normally contact you first.

You can stop using the service at any time. Cancelling a subscription is covered by the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify account holders by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Wisconsin, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence, and you may also bring proceedings there.
